Our intention is to offer our patrons a truly unique engagement with taste. To achieve the degree of excellence that we expect from each and every cup it takes an amazing amount of attention and diligence from everyone participating in the coffees journey from farm to cup. If one step is compromised along the way, the coffee will not be all it can be. It is our job to steward that process until it reaches you, but from there it is in your hands.

Our 3 recommendations to help make your cup a superlative one.
1. Use only fresh 1000faces Coffee (anything over 2 weeks is too old).
2. Grind right before brewing.
3. Use fresh filtered cold water just below boiling temperature.

With each roast we can recommend a brewing method. Whether your working with a French press, a drip pot, or an Italian Espresso machine we will assist you in any possible way. Brewing coffee is both an art and a science, perfect your methods and you will taste the reason for our suggestions.

Storage

We recommend storing your coffee in your refrigerator, not the freezer. The temperature changes for coffee stored in the freezer shocks the flavor out of the beans.

Why Whole Beans

We sell only in whole beans, because selling ground coffee is like selling fruit that has already been bitten into. So grind your beans while you are warming your water. If you are in need of a grinder, please take the time to find the one that best meet your needs.
